About Tony Noble


Tony Noble was a serving Police Officer for nearly 23 years with Surrey Police Force in the South East of England. He retired from the police service in September 2015. He is also a trainer for Bond Solon Training Ltd and carried out that role with police approval since 2003. He has now been training for them for some 15 years. He qualified as a Detective Constable in 1998, after joining the police service in March 1993. Tony’s worked in the area of Hi Tech Crime Investigation for many of those years, his role was then called Advanced Network Investigator, now known in the world of police investigation as a DMI Digital Media Investigator.

He was seconded to the College of Policing in March 2014, to work as a National Cyber Crime Coordinator. He has been responsible for liaising with over 24 of the UK’s Police Forces to try and ensure they kept up the training in the area of cybercrime. He has also written major parts of the Mainstream Cyber Crime Training Two Programme for police officers who need to learn about how to handle electronic evidence and investigate such crimes.

Tony is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association of America and also the White Hats in the UK. Tony has had practical experience of both arresting, investigating and charging offenders who commit crimes against the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and the Fraud Act 2006. He is a trainer who also teaches Disclosure Training relating to the Criminal Procedure Investigation Act 1996. He also delivers training relating to The Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984 relating to all aspects of Evidence & Procedure.

He now works with both businesses and organisations as well as the general public, to further internet safety awareness that is needed today both by businesses and the general public alike.

Tony when not teaching works for the UK Border Force as a Seasonal Work Force Immigration officer.

One of his main roles is delivering training to some of the thousands of investigators who exist outside of the UK police service who still need training in aspects of investigation such as Interviewing suspects and witnesses, statement writing, exhibit handling and case file preparation.
